About Us
MONTHLY MEETINGS
Our meetings are held the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00 PM. We meet at the Scrubgrass Grange in Emlenton, PA.
ANNUAL GUILD EVENTS
We hold many annual events for our members to participate in such as:
- Annual Shop Hop
- Annual Retreat
- Annual Christmas Party
- Service Projects
- Classes taught by our own members
- Class(es) taught by a Regional, National or International Teacher
- EPP (English Paper Piecing) Group
MEANDERING TRAILS QUILT SHOW
SSQG holds athe Meandering Trails Quilt Show on a biennial basis. It is held in October of odd numbered years.
The next quilt show will be held on October 10-11, 2025.

New Retreat Venue

Days for Girls Grove City wants to share some exciting news!
Days for Girls Grove City has exciting news to share. They’ve received a generous offer from George Junior Republic, which they gratefully accepted. The organization now has a dedicated, spacious facility for their team headquarters. This building, rent-free and with utilities paid, is perfect for sewing due to its ample natural and artificial light, open floor plan, and included furnishings and appliances. The new home is situated on the GJR campus, across from the Sheetz car wash, next to the Mercer County Adult Education Center. GJR is committed to supporting non-profit ventures that benefit the Grove City community. Previously, East Main Church provided space for Days for Girls Grove City, but they outgrew it. Now, with this new facility, they can continue their important work of providing menstrual health kits to women and girls in need . 😊
In addition to donations, there are other creative ways to support their work. You can organize underwear, washcloth, or hotel soap drives, or even host birthday parties or showers “for a cause.” Feel free to contact them for more ideas! And don’t forget to like, follow, and share their Facebook page to help spread the word about their impactful work.
They’re also planning an Open House at their new DFG Center in September, so you’ll have an opportunity to visit the space and see what they’re doing. Meanwhile, they’re hard at work sending kits to Cuba, Ukraine, Panama, and addressing other needs arising from natural disasters or emergencies. Your support is greatly appreciated! 🌟🙌
